GRUMA is the global food company, proudly Mexican, leading producer of corn flour and tortillas worldwide. GRUMA has a remarkable international expansion that includes operations in America, Europe, Asia and Oceania with 79 plants and a significant presence in 112 countries through its global brands Maseca and Mission and a lot of local leading brands like Guerrero in United States , Tortiricas and Tosty in Costa Rica.
Solution
GRUMA required to systematize the whole process of production for Mission Foods plants located in Europe, and integrate with smart scales and SAP as its ERP. A system that captures the raw material consumption automatically from the scale, generating finished product, and inventory movements, generating pallets with product and traceability, reports of movements and transactions, all with automatic integration to SAP was developed. Currently this system is translated into 4 languages and is used in 17 plants in Europe and the United States.
