Ryder is a provider of transportation and supply chain based in the United States, and is especially known for its fleet of rental trucks. Ryder specializes in fleet management, management of the supply chain and dedicated transport contracts. Ryder operates in North America, the UK and Asia. Since Ryder Mexico began operations in 1994, it has set a pace of rapid growth in the logistics supply chain in Mexico and the transportation industry. Today, Ryder manages more than 4,000 border crossings each week between Mexico and the United States.

Solution

Ryder has 3 plants in Mexico, each responsible for managing its operations. It was necessary to integrate information from the 3 plants, and establish an EDI communication with major customers of the company. A replication solution for 3 plants was designed with a centralized data in the cloud, and additionally, the necessary mechanisms were established to integrate existing systems Ryder with the needs of EDI of its most important customers, allowing them to accelerate response times and increase their efficiency level with its customers.
